A rider who came off at Douglas Road Corner during lap one of Tuesday’s Supertwin Race says she is “alright” and will be back to the races.
Veronika Hankocyová was taken to Noble’s Hospital by Airmed, and continues to receive treatment for reported head, chest and arm injuries.
Posting to social media, Veronika said: “Just let you know I’m alright, waiting for my medical flight to czech hospital.
“I’m on the mend, and never give up! I’LL BE BACK.”
Clearly in good spirits, Veronika offered to be new team mate for Peter Hickman with the name ‘Blue/Black eyes’.
