The Manxman has had difficulty on arriving in Douglas tonight and appears to be stuck in the harbour.
We don’t know the cause of the issue, but a member of the public said the ship had tried several times to manoeuvre in the harbour.
Having arrived from Liverpool, passengers were due to be back on dry land by 6pm.
But as of 6:28pm the ship is just sitting in the harbour.
The Steam Packet has said about tonight’s Heysham sailing: “Due to tidal restrictions in Douglas Harbour this sailing will run with a delay. A further update will be issued once the vessel has berthed.”
The captain has told passengers he expects the vessel to re-float at about 7:30pm.
