Focus on ‘Moments that Matter’

Sight Matters is inviting the community to switch off, slow down and focus on their wellbeing at a one‑day event, Moments that Matter.

The wellbeing event on May 16 forms part of Mental Health Awareness Week and will be held at Corrin Court in Onchan and supported by Manx Solar Electrical.

The day is open to everyone, not just those living with sight loss, with a programme designed to help people relax, reset and try something new at their own pace.

Wellbeing

Sessions will be led by local wellbeing practitioners and include meditation with Mike Kewley, yoga and a sound bath with Happy & Healthy Yoga and Envivo Fitness, Pilates with Saras Zest for Life, tai chi with Tai Chi Place, breathwork with cacao, and tapping with energy‑healing flowers.

Tickets cost £60 for the full day, with an optional lunch available.

Volunteer Coordinator Debbie Thomson said the event aims to create “a space where people feel welcome to take care of their mental wellbeing”, while also supporting the charity’s wider work.

Places are limited and booking is essential. To reserve a spot, call 674727 or book online via the Sight Matters Facebook page.
