While two flights got out this morning, there are delays on several others, with one easyJet flight spending over an hour circling before turning back.
At the moment, Ronaldsway is saying an update will provided on some flights by 12:30pm.
Such has been the interest and hope in flights getting going, two island-bound flights were in the top three of flights being tracked worldwide on Flight Radar just after 12pm this afternoon.
