A section of footpath alongside the River Nebb will be temporarily closed from today for essential works.
The closure is necessary to install the surface water outlet from the new treatment works site and access road to the river.
Manx Utilities said it the river footpath will be temporarily closed between the sections shown on the attached map.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the project via the adjacent heritage trail.
The river footpath is expected to reopen within two weeks, after which pedestrians will be diverted from the heritage trail to allow further drainage installation to continue.
Clear signage will be in place to direct the public. Manx Utilities thanked the public for their “understanding and cooperation while we carry out these improvements”.
