Footpaths around Spanish Head are closed until further notice.
An unexploded ordnance has been located on the coastal footpath near to Spanish Head.
Port Erin Coastguard said: “The team are currently securing the site, and footpaths have been closed from the Chasms through to Burroo Ned, close to the Sound.
“Access to the Sound cafe is unaffected. We are awaiting a specialist team from the UK to travel to the island and more information will be shared when the area is reopened.”
