The police have responded to the not guilty verdict in the death by dangerous driving trial.
Jackson Joseph Paul, 37, was acquitted by a jury of seven today, following a seven-day trial in Douglas.
He had denied causing the death by dangerous driving of Onchan resident Jordan Thomas
A spokesperson said: “The Isle of Man Constabulary respects the outcome of today’s proceedings, and at this time we will not be providing further comment.
“We ask that the privacy of the family is respected, and the Constabulary will not be issuing a statement on their behalf.”
