From tomorrow there will be four way traffic lights on Minorca Hill in Laxey whilst culvert repairs are underway.
The Department of Infrastructure it is to repair the surface water culvert at the end of Sunnyside Terrace, at the top of Minorca Hill.
Work will start tomorrow (February 17), and is expected to take two or three days to complete.
Repairs have been deliberately timed to coincide with February school half term to reduce the overall impact of these works.
Traffic Lights
The DoI says that two-way traffic will be maintained along Minorca Hill at all times.
Due to the proximity of the works to Minorca crossroads, and the need to accommodate waiting traffic, there will be four way temporary traffic lights on Minorca crossroads.
