Manx rugby talent Freya Crowe has been selected for the Cheshire County Main Squad for 2026.
The Vagabonds Ladies player travelled across on Wednesday (March 11) for county trials and received confirmation on Thursday (March 12) evening that she had secured a place in the main squad.
Crowe will now begin a demanding off‑island schedule, travelling to the UK every Wednesday for training sessions and returning again on Saturdays from May for competitive fixtures.
The increased travel load brings significant costs, and she is now seeking sponsorship support to help make the opportunity sustainable.
Her parent said they “couldn’t be prouder” of the work she has put in to reach county‑level selection and hope the community, including local businesses, may be able to back her as she steps into a higher tier of the sport.
Anyone interested in supporting Crowe’s county campaign is invited to get in touch directly.
