We are in for a cold start to today with frost in sheltered places, but dry with sunny intervals.
There will be a moderate northerly wind and highest temperature of 9°C.
However, there is a risk of a few showers later on in the day and overnight into Wednesday.
Over higher ground the showers may be sleet (cue the Mountain closure).
Panic not, the lovely weather hasn’t come to an abrupt end as it’ll be mainly dry with sunny intervals on Wednesday and Thursday.
