As Jade Burden prepares for her title bout this weekend, she has been sent a message of support from boxing royalty.
Tyson Fury, another local boxer returning to the ring this weekend, took time out of his own camp to send The Grenade his support.
Fury said: “Do the business Jade fighting for your first title, the commonwealth title, absolutely smash it. I know you’ve put all the work in and you’ve dedicated your life to this.
“This is your moment to shine now Jade. Let’s go baby, bring that title back to the Isle of Man.”
Burden is competing for the Commonwealth Silver Super Featherweight title this weekend, facing Katie Smith in Portsmouth.
Fury meanwhile is returning to the ring against Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.
