Volunteers and Staff from Junior Achievement visited year 10 students at Castle Rushen High School to deliver the ‘Get a Job’ programme.
The programme helps students understand what employers look for when reviewing job applications.
It also equips them with essential transferable skills, including what to include on a CV, how to search and apply for jobs, preparing for interviews, mastering body language, using effective questioning techniques, and following up after an interview.
Volunteers from the Financial Services Authority, Zurich and multiple banks attended the visit to the school.
