The Isle of Man wind orchestra will play a festive programme of music next month at Cathedral Isle of Man in Peel.
Traditional pieces by Holst and Shostakovic can be heard alongside an arrangement of Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill and Doctor Who themes.
Turning more festive, the orchestra’s 40 plus members will play the Coventry Carol, a Ukrainian carol, a medley from the film The Polar Express and traditional Christmas music in big band swing style.

John Kinley, joint conductor of the Isle of Man Wind Orchestra alongside Paul Dunderdale, said: “Music is such an important part of the festive season and we hope people will join us at our final concert of 2025.”
Admission to the concert is free, although there will be a retiring collection. Tea and coffee will be served prior to the concert.
The concert will be held at Cathedral Isle of Man in Peel, on Saturday, December 13 at 7.30pm.
