Golf Day Raises Over £8.5k For Charity

More than £8,500 has been raised for Ed Space at the MAC Group annual charity golf day, held at Peel Golf Club last month.

Teams from Canaccord, PGI and Monument topped the leaderboard after a day of competitive golf, followed by lunch at the Congary and a talk from Simon of Ed Space, who outlined the charity’s work supporting mental wellbeing across the island.

Ed Space is MAC Group’s Charity of the Year for 2026, providing safe, inclusive spaces for open conversations around mental health and helping people build confidence, resilience and emotional strength.

MAC Group Managing Director Ed Walter said the team was “incredibly proud” of the total raised, thanking players, hole sponsors and those who donated raffle prizes for their generosity.

Shirley Cain of Ed Space also expressed gratitude, saying events like this “make a meaningful difference” by supporting individuals across the community and raising awareness of the charity’s work.

MAC Group will invite staff to vote later this year on the organisation’s 2027 charity partner.
