Doctors from around the Isle of Man will be attending a series of training days next month.
The sessions will be taking place on November 7 and 8, but Manx Care says it ensure as little disruption to patients as possible.
All GP practices will remain open on both days.
Training Days
The November 7 session commences at 5pm, so the Manx Emergency Doctor Service (MEDS) will open at 5pm instead of 6pm on this day to facilitate GP attendance.
Please note that MEDS will not be able to make any routine appointments, request test results or order repeat prescriptions.
The second day of training will take place in the afternoon, however GP practices will remain open, and any cancellations for patients will be kept to a minimum.
If you already have an appointment booked with your GP on either of the dates mentioned, you should assume this is going ahead unless you hear otherwise from your GP practice.
