A candidate standing for Port Erin Commissioners says she would like to do more to support the elderly people in the village.
Fenella Gray, who runs the Southern Charitable Causes shop, wants to make some ‘improvements’ to the community if she is elected.
There are two available seats in the Port Erin Commissioners by-election, and residents will be able to vote from 8am until 8pm on Thursday, July 17 at the commissioner’s offices on Bridson Street.

Mrs Gray added that shops are shutting which is ‘sad’ but hopes that with some help from the local authority it could ‘build back up’ soon.
