Manx Care says it is experiencing computer issues today that may affect patients.
It says it has been notified that that there is an issue with the “EMIS” system across the organisation.
The health provider said: “Please be advised that there may be delays in the service you receive today as a result, including booking of appointments, retrieving results, prescription production, and some patients may experience delays to their appointment time.
“It is affecting all areas that utilise this system, including community and GP practices.
“The matter has been raised with the supplier and work is ongoing to resolve this, however we do not know how long the issue will last.”
