Nathan Harrison says he is focusing on a trouble-free campaign at this year’s TT, after a series of injuries disrupted his recent seasons.
The 27-year-old has already been clocking 130mph in practice, matching his top speed from last year.
“We’ve got a few tweaks to make to make the bike a little bit easier to ride, and obviously then more speed will come,” he told Manx.News.
Harrison has recently come back from a freak crash at Donnington Park last September which saw him battling back from “another broken femur and broken back”.
Family Business
Racing with his family-run H&H team, Harrison believes a relaxed environment suits him best. “My dad just wants the best for me, and so does all the team. It’s a really chill environment,” he said.
Competing against experienced rivals such as Dean Harrison, Michael Dunlop and Peter Hickman, he is refusing to rush. “My time will come. I just need to just stay where I am, do what I’m doing, and let it come to me.”
