Dean Harrison says he is “over the moon” to secure his first Isle of Man TT win since 2019—and Honda’s first since 2015—after a dramatic victory in today’s Superstock race.
The Laxey rider held off fierce competition to claim his fourth TT win and his first in the class.
“Honestly, I’ve been trying and trying,” an emotional Harrison said. “Everyone knows how hard it is just to podium, never mind win. We’ve had ups and downs, but today makes it all worth it.”
The Honda Fireblade rider praised the roaring crowd support, saying: “A massive thanks to everyone waving over the fences—I was digging deeper every lap because of them.”
He also credited his team’s relentless effort: “The boys worked so hard all week. To give Honda a TT win again is special.”
Harrison set a blistering personal best lap of 133.835mph, admitting: “I just rode as hard as I could. The Fireblade’s getting better every session—it’s rapid!”
The win marks a triumphant return to the top step for Harrison, who last stood there six years ago.
With a second lap of 135.692mph – his best ever lap of the Mountain Course – Harrison swept to his first TT win since the 2019 Senior. It was his first Superstock race win and Honda’s first in the class since 2013.
Todd (134.077mph) and Dunlop (134.081mph) joined him on the podium as Hillier (131.937mph), Hutchinson (131.606mph) and Cummins (131.486mph) rounded out the top six. Nathan Harrison (130.840mph) ended up seventh ahead of Herbertson (131.182mph), Brookes (130.760mph) and James Hind, who lapped at a superb 132.152mph on the North Lincs Components Honda. Michael Evans finished 11th as he too set his first 130mph+ lap, 130.094mph.
