Dean Harrison made it two Superstock wins in a row as he claimed the first race on Bank Holiday Friday.
It is the first time he has won more than one race in a year and makes him the fifth highest racer in terms of podiums.
With the exception of one sector in the first lap he led from start to finish as Davey Todd lost a lot of time in the pits.
Leading by 2.2 seconds at Glen Helen on lap one, Harrison had to fight back as Todd took the lead by Ramsey, but climbing the Mountain the Laxey man was back in front and never looked back.
A problem emerging from the pits left Todd lose about 12 seconds having only trailed by 0.5 seconds at the end of lap one.
By the time they got to Ballaugh on the second lap Harrison was over 15 seconds clear, almost 20 seconds at the Bungalow and crossing the line at the Grandstand with a 130mph+ lap 20.031 seconds clear.
As he began his final climb up from Ramsey, the fans were cheering and clapping for Harrison.
Crossing the line with a 132.58mph lap, his adoption of a Manxie grew even stronger.
Todd and Dunlop finished second and third.
