An open afternoon will be hosted later this month by the Isle of Man Art Society.
The aim of this year’s event is to encourage novice or experienced artists to become members of the Isle of Man Art Society.
Established in 1953 the Isle of Man Art Society has been in offering memberships to adults aged 18 years and above for just over 72 years.

The event on September 20 will be an opportunity to meet and chat with members.
As well as viewing a variety of art demonstrations showing different art mediums, styles and techniques.
Art demonstrations will be held be Paul Parker, Rebecca Preston and Geoff Watts.
It will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 2pm to 4pm at Thie Ellyn, Off Withington Road in Douglas.
