Helen Taylor and Matt Callister have completed the Tokyo Marathon, sealing all six World Marathon Majors and earning their Six Star medals.
Matt completed his Six Stars in great style by setting a new personal best time of 2hr 50mins and 11 seconds.
Six other runners from the Isle of Man also made the long trip to Japan to compete in the Tokyo Marathon at the weekend.

Christa Cain set the fastest time of the Manx contingent, and was not quite at full throttle as she is mainly targeting the London Marathon in a few weeks.
Her time was barely five minutes shy of her best, securing star number five on her Six Star journey.
Ash Humphrey, Ian Goatman and Helen Taylor finished within five minutes of each other. It was Ian’s fifth, and also on that total now is Christa’s fiance Simon Scott.
Very well done also to Bernie Johnson and Will Watterson, with Bernie completing her fourth star.
The eight Manx runners times are below:
- 2:40:51 Christa Cain
- 2:50:11 Matt Callister
- 3:17:16 Ash Humphrey
- 3:18:13 Ian Goatman
- 3:21:40 Helen Taylor
- 3:44:12 Simon Scott
- 3:46:12 Bernie Johnson
- 5:51:21 Will Watterson
