HoK to pause for funeral of Eddie Lowey

Today’s morning session of the House of Keys will be truncated to allow MHKs to attend the funeral of Eddie Lowey.

Mr Lowey passed away in May at the age of 86.

The former MHK and MLC’s funeral is set to take place at Rushen Abbey Church at midday.

The day’s sitting is set to be suspended after the allotted hour for questions to allow politicians to attend the service.

The sitting will resume at 2:30pm.
