Have any people died in waiting room at hospital on the Isle of Man? That is a question the Health Minister is due to answer in the coming weeks.
Minister for Health and Social Care, Claire Christian MHK will reveal the answer in response to part of Onchan MHK Julie Edge’s written question.
Ms Edge has submitted a written question with several parts to the Minister.
The Onchan MHK wishes to know if The Minister will list the answers for the following the last five years:
Deaths in waiting areas, by area, other sentinel events, safeguarding or other serious incidents into which investigations have been undertaken showing i) areas of concern, ii) findings and iii) what clinical or other operational changes were implemented as a direct result.
The Minister is expected to respond by March 13.
