Supermarket Iceland has set its sights on a new island base.
The company had previously sold its products through Shoprite but wants to return to Manx shelves.
Plans have been submitted to build a new Iceland Food Warehouse store on the Spring Valley Estate in Braddan.
It said: “The Food Warehouse aims to offer customers and local businesses a simpler way to shop for great value and great quality products, often in bulk.
“The Food Warehouse also seeks to offer an island-wide delivery service whereby a customer simply has to spend over £40 online and they will receive free next day delivery.”

The store would be located on the site of old, empty business units which are now set for demolition.
The new building is designed to be a modern addition to the area and is expected to create new jobs.
Its application states the development aims to “strengthen an existing redundant site.”
The proposal includes a large customer car park with 72 spaces, including parking for electric vehicles.
