Yasmin Ingham and Banzai Du Loir are in second place going into the final phase at Kentucky Three Day Event tomorrow (April 28).
The World Champions stormed clear round a very tough cross country course today (April 27), picking up a few time penalties to add to their dressage score, leaving them on 31.6.
Speaking to Manx.News reporter out in Lexington, Jess Collister, Yasmin said that Banzai was ’10/10′ on the cross country at Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event.

After day two of dressage Yasmin dropped to second place, behind fellow brit, Tom McEwen who now sits on 28.6 penalties.
Today’s edge of your seat action has proved that this years event is certainly not a dressage competition as many combinations have struggled to make the optimum time.
Before cross country day, Yas said that the Kentucky course ‘is a true big 5* track’, with ‘questions the whole way through the course’; and that it certainly was.
It will all be to play for tomorrow afternoon as the competitors heads into the showjumping phase tomorrow (April 28). The top three, who are all Brits, are covered by less than a pole. (4 Penalties)
This is the Manx woman’s third trip out to the United States of America with Banzai Du Loir, finishing second there in 2022.
