Yasmin Ingham is preparing her strong string of event horses for some big events this autumn.
As preparations gear up for the second half of the season she ran four of her string yesterday (August 14) at Frickley Park Horse Trials in Yorkshire.
The 28-year-old Manx woman rode Janette Chinn’s and the Sue Davies Fund’s Rehy DJ, Goliath Du Loir, Gyspie Du Loir, and Kinda Corvette in the Open Intermediate class at the event.
Big Autumn
All four horses jumped clear rounds in both the show jumping and cross country phases at the event in Doncaster.
Yasmin said she had the handbrake “firmly on” and “testing brakes” for cross country ahead of her big autumn events.
Although it is not confirmed which ‘big’ events Yasmin will be routing to, if history is anything to go by we could expect to see her at Blenheim Palace potentially looking to reclaim the CCI4*L title which she won on Banzai Du Loir in 2021.
Not short of options, it will also be worth looking at the entry list for Pau CCI5* in France, as well as Boekelo 4*L in the Netherlands.
