Yasmin Ingham and Gypsie Du Loir have been crowned the winners of the CCI4*S at Defender Bramham Horse Trials.
The 28-year-old Manx woman rode Janette Chinn’s and the Sue Davies Fund’s nine-year-old mare ‘Gigi’ to victory at the event in West Yorkshire.
Over the weekend, Yasmin and Gigi finished on their dressage score of 27.9 to win the prestigious class.
Bramham Win
Speaking on the win, Yasmin said: “I couldn’t be more proud of her. Having produced her since a green, sharp 5YO it certainly makes this win seriously sweet at only 9YO, she’s showing some serious class for the future.
“Feeling very lucky to be the one riding her. Such a special girl.”
At the event Yasmin also rode Banzai Du Loir’s and Gigi’s brother, Goliath Du Loir.
Yasmin piloted ‘Gogo’ round his second CCI4*S double clear to finish just outside of the top 10 in 13th place.
She said: “He got really stuck into the XC and came home so strong to finish one second over the time. Looking forward to the rest of the season with him.”
