A police investigation is under way after a video showing a physical altercation between two men on Central Promenade, Douglas, began circulating on social media.
Officers confirmed today that enquiries are ongoing and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have further footage or information, to come forward.
Police say additional material will assist in establishing the full circumstances of the confrontation.
The force is asking anyone with information to contact Police Headquarters on 631212, quoting reference P280626039, or to report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
