Island to Host First UltraMann

The Isle of Man will host its first UltraMann event on June 27, with runners taking on a 50-mile endurance challenge across the island to raise funds for Hospice.

The race will showcase sections of the rugged coastline, including parts of the Raad Ny Foillan coastal path, heritage footpaths and trails offering sweeping sea views.

Despite covering just 32 miles by 13 miles, the island already has a strong reputation for endurance sport.

UlrtaMann

UltraMann will join established events such as the Parish Walk and Race The Sun, further strengthening the Isle of Man’s profile as a destination for long-distance challenges.

Hospice Isle of Man’s Challenge Events Lead Richard Fletcher said the event would allow runners to push their limits while supporting a cause that benefits the island’s 85,000 residents.

UltraMann will take place on the same day as Race The Sun 2026, giving athletes a new solo endurance option alongside the popular team relay event.

Entries for UltraMann are now open.
