Isle of Mama hosted its first-ever Bump & Beyond Fayre this month and raised money for two local charities.
£500 was raised at the event and will be split equally between Arlo’s Adventure and Teddy’s Trundle in support of Positive About Down Syndrome.
Founder Vanessa Egisto was moved by the day’s success: “I was completely overwhelmed by the turnout on Saturday.”

She added: “It was so special to see so many expectant and new parents come together. Thank you to everyone who attended and donated so generously to the raffle – your kindness will make a real difference.”
The Bump & Beyond Fayre featured local businesses, parenting resources, and family-friendly activities tailored for expectant parents and those with young children.
With such a successful debut, Isle of Mama is already looking ahead to future events to support the Island’s parenting community.
