The three new Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) have been appointed Treasury, DHSC and Department of Home Affairs.
Gary Clueit, Kirstie Morphet and Peter Reid were sworn in on Tuesday March 11, alongside re-appointed member Rob Mercer after being chosen by MHKs to receive the £71,659 salary.
Mr Clueit has been appointed to the Treasury replacing Bill Henderson, joining Andrew Smith MHK as a member.
Mrs Morphet will be joining the Department of Home Affairs to work alongside John Wannenburgh MHK.
Mr Reid has been appointed to the DHSC where he joins Minister Poole-Wilson and Minister Ashford as members of the DHSC.
CoMin will also be recommending the appointment of Mr Reid to the position of Vice-Chair of the Manx Utilities Authority at the April 2025 sitting of Tynwald.
Tanya August-Phillips MLC has left the DHSC and been appointed to the DfE, with a focus on the Finance Isle of Man agency, alongside her ongoing membership of DEFA.
Member of departments do not receive an uptick in pay.
