Kazia Whittaker has received the Phill Quayle Award for Clinical Excellence for her dedication and compassion to physiotherapy.
The award is given across all therapy services in Manx Care and presented by Phill’s parents in his memory.
Kazia said: “It’s a privilege to be connected to his legacy. After just 10 months in my role, I genuinely didn’t expect this.
“This recognition means so much and I’m so grateful to those who nominated me.”
Dedication to Physiotherapy
She added: “Although I never had the chance to meet Phill, everything I’ve heard about him reflects the values I try to bring to my own work, kindness, dedication, and professionalism.”
Kazia thanked Phill’s parents for presenting the award and thanked her colleagues and patients.
She said: “You’re the reason this job is so rewarding. Moments like this remind me just how much I love being a physiotherapist and why teamwork and care are at the heart of everything we do.”
