When Jade Burden steps into the ring in Blackpool on Saturday night she’ll do so with a new sponsor.
The Grenade takes the ring in Blackpool on Saturday to face Linzi Buczynskyj.
Ahead of her fight, Burden has been sponsored by Whittle Law, run by her former football teammate Gill Christian.
She said: “A massive thank you to Gill, someone I’ve known for years, played alongside for the Isle of Man women’s football team so many times, and always looked up to. She was a captain, a leader, and the kind of teammate who made everyone around her better.
“Gill and her husband founded Whittles, a rapidly developing law firm now marking its first successful year in business in Honor of her dad Dave.
“Knowing how much he meant to her, and knowing first hand how good of a man he was, it honestly means a lot to me to be supported by something that carries his name.
