The Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer hosted the swearing-in of five new Magistrates this week.
On Tuesday (December 3) at the Courts of Justice in Douglas, His Honour First Deemster Andrew Corlett officiated.
The new Justices of the Peace are Daniel Bonett, Gráinne Burns, James Mylchreest, Rachael Cringle and Katie Farrall.
They were chosen through open recruitment, which began in Spring 2024.
Those being sworn in on Tuesday have already undertaken their initial training and will now take up their duties on the Bench starting on Friday.
