The Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer and Lady Lorimer got behind the wheel of a P50 at the weekend.
An unprecedented collection of iconic P50 cars, along with their slightly bigger brothers, the Viking and the Trident, took to the island’s roads over the weekend.
His Excellency and Lady Lorimer caught up with the tiny vehicles at Queens Pier in Ramsey.

Both His Excellency and Lady Lorimer both had a chance for a run around the Pier in a P50.
P50 Production
Production of these vehicles began 60 years ago this year at Peel Engineering.

On Saturday (August 3), following a stop at the Grandstand, the convoy made their way to Government House.
The group then made their way onto the Promenade, where more people had a chance to view these unique vehicles.
