Curraghs Wildlife Park’s education manager, Liz Brunswick, has been nominated for a woman of the year award.
L:iz has been nominated for the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums award thanks to her work at the park.
Liz built the Park’s conservation education program from scratch, and her ‘colour me wild’ workshop won a BIAZA award and is still very popular with schools.
Her nominator said: ‘Liz is one of the most conscientious, hardworking people I have had the pleasure of working with – to say she goes the extra mile would be an understatement.’
As well as teaching Liz does the interpretation, graphics, and manages a team of over 40 volunteers.
Curraghs said Liz’s nomination is ‘very well deserved nomination’.
