Manx Care says its new locum breast radiologist has now started clinics on the island.
Patients waiting for an appointment have been contacted and ongoing contact is continuing for those who have been referred in the last few days.
The health provider said: “Appointments are being scheduled, and letters are being sent out.
“If you are experiencing any worsening or new symptoms since your referral, please contact your GP practice.
“For further queries, or if you need more information/symptom advice, please contact the Breast Care Nurse on +44 1624 650194, or MCALS on +44 1624 642642.”
