Man Admits Cannabis Charge

A 31-year-old will be sentenced in the higher court after admitting being involved in the supply of cannabis.

Michael Glover, of Douglas, admitted the charge when appearing before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood.

Mr Glover has admitted being involved in being involved in the supply of 50g of the class B drug.

He is due to be sentenced for an incident in which a man was stabbed, which he and Donovan Kitching are due to be sentenced for.

Mr Glover had been due to be sentenced by Deemster Cook last week, but that hearing was adjourned to allow for these matters to be resolved.

His next appearance will be on August 29.

Two other charges of being involved in the concern of cocaine and cannabis resin were withdrawn.
