The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company’s engineering team has worked tirelessly overnight to repair damage sustained to the Manannan during yesterday (April 9) afternoon’s very rough crossing from Liverpool to the Isle of Man.
The damage sustained was to the vehicle deck, and there were engine problems.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company said: “These have been successfully repaired and tested overnight, and is a testament to our engineering team.
“Due to the disruption to yesterday’s sailings and overnight works, we are working today to accommodate rescheduled sailings.
“We’d like to thank our staff for their continued hard work, and to our passengers for their patience and understanding.”
