Significant steps in the women and children’s care group, opening Summerhill View and mental health initiatives have been listed by Manx Care as its 10 biggest achieves in the last year.
Health Minister Claire Christian was asked what Manx Care considers to be its best achievements of the year by Juan Watterson SHK.
Ms Christian said the health body had provided its top 10 itself.
It included work such as the creation of Baby Loss Certificates and the creation of the Bluebell Suite, a private space for parents experiencing miscarriage and baby loss, offering comfort and care as one of its best achievements.
Other achievements included the opening of the Manx Integrated Sexual Health Centre which “incorporates a fully integrated service, providing a ‘one stop shop’ for a full range of contraception options, testing, management and treatment of all sexually transmitted infections”.
