The Isle of Man FA has been shortlisted for the Brand Engagement Award at the County FA Recognition Awards 2024.
The shortlisting comes for its International Women’s Day Celebration of Women and Girls in Football showcase event in March 2024.
Over 225 nominations have been entered from the 50 County FAs operating across England, highlighting exceptional delivery and showcasing how they are innovating to improve grassroots football and increase participation across all levels of the game.
Isle of Man FA CEO, Lewis Qualtrough said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been short listed for the County FA Recognition Awards! Our International Women’s Day Celebration of Women and Girls in Football was a huge success.
“We wanted to kickstart one of our strategic priorities for 2024-2028 to deliver equal opportunities for Women and girls to enjoy football. Our showcase event and media plan delivered, reaching 1.9 million views across a range of platforms!
Recognition for events like this helps lay strong foundations for a modern and forward-thinking sport.
