A new children’s podcast created on the Isle of Man is putting young imaginations centre stage, and Manx kids are being invited to help shape it.
Make It Up with Mitch & Chlo, launched today by the team behind award‑winning theatre company Hello Little People, is a fast‑paced audio‑visual show where children’s story ideas are turned into fully performed episodes. It’s available now on YouTube and all major podcast platforms.
Hosted by Michelle Jamieson and Chloe Shimmin, the podcast is aimed at ages 6 to 8 and mixes original songs, jokes, characters and plenty of playful chaos.
Themes include nature, emotions, community and curiosity, all explored through a child’s imagination.
Island children can submit their own story ideas at mitchandchlo.com for the chance to become a “Make It Up Maestro”, with selected ideas developed into full episodes.
New episodes are released every Tuesday at 7am on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other major platforms.
