The daughter of a Manx woman has won an individual gold medal at the Junior European Eventing Championships.
Ella Howard, daughter of Zannie Howard who is Manx and grew up on the Isle of Man, won the medal at Strzegom Horse Trials in Poland.
The 17-year-old and her horse Marchwood were in Silver Medal position after a dressage test of 23.7 followed by a fantastic clear round XC with just 4.5 time penalties.
A perfect clear round showjumping elevated them to Gold Medal position at the Championships.
It wasn’t just one medal for Ella at the Juniors, she was also part of the British team that won Team Bronze.
