Manx Telecom says Fixed Line Services have been restored following a fault overnight.
Customers reported being unable to make or receive calls.
The Emergency Services Joint Control Room also confirmed the technical issue had affected the 999 emergency call system from landlines.
Engineers managed to restore services at just before 4am.
