Manx Transport Heritage Museum Pays Tribute to Sam

The Manx Transport Heritage Museum has paid tribute to its founding member Sam Knight who passed away earlier this week.

The Museum says it has lost a “true gentleman” and passes its deepest condolences go to Sam’s family at this difficult time.

It said: “Sam’s dedication and passion for all things Peel and it’s heritage, lit a flame in all of us who knew him and his story’s and knowledge will live on for future generations.

“Reflecting on last year, Sam and Mo would sit for hours watching the Christmas grotto come to life and the children enjoying themselves and having fun.”

It says that Sam’s vision and dream will “live on” and the team at the museum will continue to make him proud.
