Today’s sailings to and from Heysham are facing brief delays as the Manxman is waiting to enter the harbour.
A passenger onboard told Manx.News the vessel turned around on its entry into the Lancashire port.
The vessel slowed on entry to Heysham as fog thickened, with the ship turning round and heading briefly back out to sea before turning again.
Having left Douglas at 8:23am, Manxman was due in Heysham just after 12pm and is due to depart again at 2:15pm.
Our reader said the captain has said Manxman should be able to enter Heysham at around 12:40pm.
