Sir Mark Cavendish will bring to an end a record-breaking professional cycling career at a race in Singapore this morning.
The Manx rider, who’s 39, broke the outright record for Tour de France stage wins this year, with 35 in total.
There had been speculation about whether Cavendish would go back on a decision to retire for a second time.
But he confirmed yesterday that today’s event will be his last.
