The Southern 100 Marshals Association has opened applications for marshals for the 2026 Pre-TT Classic Road Races and Southern 100 Road Races.

Marshals are a key part of road racing, helping to keep competitors and spectators safe while ensuring the events run smoothly.

The Association is encouraging both experienced marshals and anyone new to volunteering to get involved at the Motor Isle Billown Course.

Marshaling Applications

No previous marshaling experience is required, as full training is provided. Organisers say a willingness to help and an interest in road racing are all that’s needed.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, headline sponsor of the Southern 100 since 1999, has also confirmed it will continue its marshal travel discount scheme for 2026.

The scheme helps eligible marshals travel to the Island more affordably to take part in the meetings.

Eligible marshals should have received a booking form by email. Anyone who believes they qualify but has not received the information is asked to contact Chief Marshal Juan Crawley.

Further details about marshalling roles, training and event logistics are available via the Southern 100 website, where a list of frequently asked questions can be found.

For further enquiries, contact Chief Marshal Juan Crawley on 07624 430687 or by email at chiefmarshal@southern100.com.

Applications to marshal are now open online, with the Association saying it looks forward to welcoming new and returning volunteers for the 2026 events.
