Team Isle of Man’s Mark McGreal was one of the first athletes to compete at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Competition got underway this morning ahead of tonight’s opening ceremony.
McGreal beat Jersey’s Taylor Greechan 2 sets to 0.
He will next compete on Saturday when he plays against the Cook Island’s Royden Aperau in Men’s Singles Sectional Play. (Section A Round 3 Match 4).
Womens Bowls
Paula Garrett and Caroline Whitehead played in the Women’s Pairs Bowls against Guernsey earlier in the morning.
Guernsey beat the Isle of Man pair 2 sets to 0 in a hard fought match.
